After successfully completing the emergency COVID-19 construction on the Gibson Medical Center, Weil Construction was again selected by the US Army Corps of Engineers Albuquerque District to partner with them on the emergency retrofit construction of the Chinle Community Center into an Alternate Care Facility (ACF) to serve as a non-COVID-19 patient care facility based on the requirements of the (National Fire Protection Association) NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code, Risk Category 3 (Basic Care).  The project was another 24/7 effort that had to be completed in just 14 days.
